I use mine on AR type platforms, I here from the bolt gun crowd the mounts that normally are used on the stocks like your talkig about are a little tall with the CNVD-LR they would need to use 1/4" taller rings to match up better, wich is fine as long as you have style ajustable cheek to make up for it , I have not used the bolt guns much sence I do multiple targets that Run like hell so I am not giving you first hand information .
