which one
you are able to put weaver rings on picatinny rail
you are able to put picatinny rings on weaver bases
hope I express myself correctly I know there is one you can not do
Which one?

I think its:

You can put weaver rings on a Picatinny rail but not picatinny rings on a weaver rail.

I dont think picatinny makes rings....(but i could be wrong)

reason for asking is I want to buy a Centra peep sight and it says fit on weaver base
so I guess it will fit on my picatinny rail

Weaver rings will fit on 1913 Picatinny rails, but rings made to fit the 1913 Picatinny-spec will not fit Weaver bases. This is because the recoil lug on 1913 Picatinny-spec rings is too wide to fit in the (narrow) slots of Weaver bases.
