I would say suppressor. You never know what laws will change when, an AICS will likely not be outlawed. I know suppressors are unlikely to be banned, but there's a mid term election coming up and people do weird things before/during/after elections.
Just my thoughts.

Go for the suppressor. By the time the BATFE gets around to approving your paperwork, you'll have had enough time to save up for the AICS. With a bit of luck, you'll be able to get both home and installed at about the same time. It'll be like Christmas. Hell, at the rate the BATFE work, it may actually be Christmas.

for sure the suppresor, it makes shooting more pleasurable. less noise and recoil.

with the way they're approving all forms, I would do the can first. It's like 2-3 months turn around time when it was 6-12 months.

Get the can out of the way first...like mentioned above, the wait should be about 2-3 months. Shooting suppressed weapons are much, much, much more enjoyable. Just my .02

that's the spirit - always try and finagle both items whenever possible that way you will happier

Congratulations indeed. Now for the bad news. This is going to feel like one of the longest waits of your life. Just try not to think about it too much. And whatever you do, don't make a habit of calling the BATFE asking about your approval status. I'm convinced that every time you call, they shuffle another form 4 packet ahead of yours.
