I already own a DPMS LR308, and I have an Obermeyer 1-11 twist 30 caliber blank.

I'm considering changing out the current barrel and doing one of the following depending on which would be most cost effective.

1. Have the Obermeyer barrel turned, cut to 22 inches, threaded, headspaced to my bolt, and otherwise made ready for me to install on my upper. I'll install it on the Upper I already own.

2. Buy a ready made quality barrel and bolt in either 260 Remington (I have another 260 already) or 308 to install myself.

Sometimes it is cheaper to buy a barrel from a company that turns out a great many of them. But I don't want to install a cheap barrel, I want to put one on that would be the equal to my Obermeyer.

Which way would be best way to go in terms of cost?
