HI all - I am trying to do my first handload for 6.5C. Using Lapua Brass (SR primer pocket) and 147 grain ELD M from Hornady.

In my cupboard I already have three primers (see picture as well): 1) CCI 250, 2) CCI Br4, 3)Federal GM215M.

I am a bit confused as to which all primers will work in my brass. Can someone who has the knowledge help answer three questions:

Q1: Out of these which primers will work for my specific brass (Lapua 6.5C SR primer pocket)?

Q2: If more than one will work, then which one is better in your view?

Q3: Is there any other better option of primer that I should consider?

thanks for your help !

Small rifle primers go in small rifle primer pockets.
Large rifle primers will not fit in small rifle pockets.
You only have the one option.

Generally benchrest/match grade primers will be marginally better than normal version.

BR4s have been my choice, although after my stash runs out the current prices might make me reconsider that and use 450s.

I use BR4 cause I prefer not to spend much time on thinking about primers causing SD variance.

Br-4 and CCi 450s are a good choice , I also like Remington 7 1/2s .

I use Winchester WSR in my Lapua small primer brass for 6.5CM, with no issues. But I'm limited to 500 yards, so don't know how good they are for the long haul.

The BR4 mentioned below is something I'll be checking out if primers ever become available again.
