Don't forget to get a few for your 22lr's or any specialty military rifles like FAL's or G3's or anything else for that matter. I made sure to pick a few extra magazines for my M1A since I still see them for now. We all love our AR's but don't forget to feed the other rifles.
In all seriousness I don't see the point in having more than you can carry for each rifle. Going to see a lot of people eating their hat when they are stuck with a few hundred magazines and they only use 5 or 6 of them on a regular basis.
