Probably a repost. Im sure many of you know Destin and his youtube channel SmarterEveryDay. I knew of the Whitworth rifles/cannons, but didn't know all the other stuff he did. This is just scratching the surface, but pretty neat.

Anyone in Oklahoma City should visit the 45th Infantry Division Museum, The Thunderbirds, and see the only Whitworth rifle with Confederate provenance. There's also a swivel gun off the USS Mississippi that has provenance to Admiral Dewey ("Gridley, you may fire when ready.") of Manila Bay fame.
