Who are small-time bullet makers?

We all know the big manufacturers (Berger, Sierra, Hornady, etc.). But who are some small-time manufacturers who produce some great bullets?

From some research I've seen JLK Swampworks is one. Any else?

Looking at Hammer bullets, I see all these ridges along the bearing surface. Anyone know what the purpose of those are?

I Believe Steve "Swampy" Milholland passed away earlier this year unfortunately.

Barts Custom Bullets would be another maker.

Bart's Bullets are what a lot of the world records have been set with lately. Vapor Trails get a lot of positive mention among benchrest shooters.

Higher prices, long lead times, and a focus on accuracy over BC seems to be why they are less popular with the PRS crowd.

Yeah it looks like Bart's bullets cater to the benchrest crowd and are very expensive. But it seems very well made either way.

If I’m going to take the time to develop a good load I want my work to last awhile.
