Just looking for some new ideas and have not quite decided yet on whether to go with a Havak Bravo, or a build with the KRG Bravo chassis, a Bighorn Arms TL3 action, Bartlein barrel, and a TriggerTech Diamond; either way I'll be sticking with 6.5 Creedmoor. I like the DLC coating on the TL3.

Haven’t shot mine yet but just finished my Bravo TL3 build. It’s a proof cf sendero lite 26 inch barrel. TT primary flat face trigger. Also have an Area 419 hellfire brake I just haven’t installed it yet. Caliber is 6.5 Saum.

Nice looking rig! Did you have to get the Whiskey 3 backbone for the TL3 to make the recoil lug fit?

Doubt this is the type of camo you are looking for, but this is the wife's custom painted KRG Bravo done by Branden at Custom Gun Coatings

LOL! Not exactly. Reminds me of Robin Williams' impersonation of a uniform fashion consultant in "Good Morning America":

    Cronauer as Camp Fashion Consultant:

"I want to tell you something. You know, this whole camouflage thing, for me, doesn't work very well. "

    Cronauer:

    "Why is that? "

    Cronauer as Camp Fashion Consultant:

"Because you go in the jungle, I can't see you. You know, it's like wearing stripes and plaid. For me, I want to do something different. You know, you go in the jungle, make a statement. If you're going to fight, clash. You know what I mean?"

I was looking for something blending in with the territory a little more, sort of in line with what I carried around when I still traveled the world with a gun for Uncle Sam; but tell the wife her rifle certainly pops and as long as it keeps her interested in shooting any color is a bonus. My wife loves the lesser recoil of the 6.5 Creedmoor, so I find she always understands when we "need" another new Creedmoor - happy wife, happy shooter.

Thanks man. No my TL3 dropped in the Bravo Chassis with no issues or modifications.

I looked at the old Bravo thread before I posted this and saw that Bighorn Arms had mentioned they were going to modify the width of
the recoil lugs of the Origin action to ensure they were going to fit but wasn't sure they had done that to the TL3 as well.

I love the DLC coating on the TL3 actions. A friend has one in a McMillan stock and it sure runs extra smooth with the Diamond Like
Carbon coating and as I found out on the Ionbond web site it provides for seven times less friction in between the bolt and raceways than
if it were just stainless steel on stainless steel.
