Rifle Scopes Who makes the lowest Picatinny rail mount for Rem 700 LA?

Who makes the lowest Picatinny rail mount for a Rem 700 long action, preferably a quality mount with a recoil lug?

(Tried mounting a Steiner 4-16x50 Military (34mm tube) on a 700 long action with an EGW 20 MOA mount and NightForce Ultralight Medium rings. This setup ended up being too high.)

Seekins.

EGW is high as hell. Badger Ordnance is only SLIGHTLY taller than Seekins if you prefer steel over alloy.

EGW makes the HD rail which is a lower profile then their standard rail, and is harder aluminum. They can also make one for you in steel. I sold a very nice Ken Farrell rail because of its tall profile, and went with the HD EGW. Farrell on the other hand , makes the lowest rings I could find(.140" base top to tube bottom)

This is about as low as I could get my scope with a 30mm tube, and 40mm objective. Still looks high, but its not.

Seekins base and Seekins low 34mm rings are .92 in height. The Warne tactical bases are surprisingly good in quality and are very low as well, steel and in 0 or 20moa.

Seekins and American Rifle Co. are probably the lowest two I can think of, the difference between those two being on the order of a few thousandths IIRC.

I personally run ARC with my Steiners.
