Normally in a skydive you really don't get a sense of how fast you are going till you pass something in the air. Like a cloud, bird, andother jumper, or a airplane... Talk about pucker factor..

That is bad ass, they got skills..

And actually, it really isn't that much fun to watch them burn in..

Those guys definitely have some skills. I'd be hesitant even jumping a wingsuit on a normal skydive - too much stuff can go wrong even without the hazards of colliding with a mountain.

I think of how fast that ground is coming up when I'm landing a huge 7-cell canopy and don't time my flare right. Can't imagine doing 120+ an arms length from terra firma.

Crump, that vid makes me sick. But, you pays your monies and takes your chances. Hope I never see anything like that.

Some of the Vid you are watching is in 'first person' with pilot having his own camera on helmet or body mount .
But lot of the Vid. on the Web. , people don't even think & forget that there is usually another Wingsuit pilot doing Relative Flight & recording the Flight Vid. they are watching on the PC.
The Wingsuit Pilot in the Vid. look pretty BadAss - BUT- the Camera Flier is pretty much flying the same Route of the pilot on the Proximity Wingsuit flight BUT they are ( Multi-Tasking in Wingsuit ) by keeping the Wingsuit pilot 'in camera frame', while also having to fly Relative flight .
People always forget about the Camera Man who are talented & work there ass off with Non of the glory .

I watched something, I don't recall what (maybe one of those believe it or not shows) but there was a guy in those same wing suits. The guy was trying to design a huge ramp so he could touch down on it without pulling a chute and slide down the ramp actually slowing him down. If the guy could actually pull that off he should get a trophy for having balls the size of wrecking balls.
