New to bolt action and apologize for all the questions! Still waiting on my RPR 6.5 Creedmoor to arrive.

Could someone explain to me the range of caliber 6.5 Creedmoor falls in? Ex: a 40 caliber falls between 9mm, 40, 45.

Bore Guide! Wanting to order Possum Hollow but their site isn’t informative. Went to midway and the Possum Hollow #5 says Ruger but nothing else. Have looked on forums, read reviews, etc and can’t find a concrete answer. Wanting the solvent port with the bore guide. Any suggestions on which bore guide and solvent port to buy for the 6.5 Creedmoor?

Solvent! I’ve always used Hoppes 9! Still a good product? Was about to purchase Shooters Choice #7 and read where it caused rust.

Any help is appreciated!
Thanks

It is between a 6mm and 7mm obviously. Rifles can vary much more than pistol cartridges. The diameter of 6mm and 7 mm is not that great but the difference in capacity of a 6mm Remington and a 7mm Remington magnum is substantial. Do a google search and you will have all you want to read on calibers

Thanks

Called the guy at Possum Hollow! Great guy! On phone for maybe 5 minutes and he’s shipping me bore guide #313 for RPR 6.5

Thanks

Awesome, thanks for the update with the exact info!

I have always used hoppes9 too but recently tried the boretech c2 and c4 and I guess it works better but thats just guessing as I dont have a borescope. I probably wont buy anymore after I use all this unless I can find a good deal on it that makes it hoppes price level.
