Why the long face?

Re: Why the long face?

Glad to see it. The horse market is in the tank because people have had no way to dispose of them, so they have just been turning them loose in orchards, fields or out on the desert. I have heard countless stories of someone coming home and have 5 or 6 head of horses in their corrals, or strange horses tied to their trailer.

With the lift of this ban, people will have an avenue to dispose of unwanted horses that will generate them a little revenue (as opposed to just letting them starve which has been happening).

I've had it before in France, although not on purpose. It's just a cultural matter, really, although you do have to watch the sprinting when you hear a bell thing carefully.

It's sad to see the state of unwanted horses these days... But raise them just for meat?

....Savages

There's a Large number of unwanted dogs and cats as well.

Horses make an awfully big hole when you have to bury them. And there are a lot of them.
