Our ring, through a neat physics trick combined with its specific alloy, ACTUALLY reinforces the Ultem of the upper monocular housing. This ring was originally only intended for our PVS-14RC (.308 rated unit) but we decided to offer it on ALL of our models of our PVS 14s, ITT, L-3, and of course the ICT PVS14RC free of charge.
