Went out today to the national forest with the wife's Mini SASS to see about doing some load development. Figured I would give the 68g Hornady's a go round on top of Varget. Unfortunately I don't have the good optic for her rifle yet so I was stuck using the 2-7 Tasco.

300yds
Hornady 68g HPBT
Varget
LC Brass
CCI 400 primers

Started by warming up with the 75g HPBT load, top group was first, then adjusted for the lower. I was having some issues with the trigger squeeze, then settled in more comfortable when I started the testing.

Then did the load development, started at 24 worked up to 26 by 0.3 jumps.

Going to redo the 24.6 - 25.2 by 0.1 jumps at the 200y range at my house next to see how they do.
