Will a 22 creed feed on a long action?

My 25-06 barrel is about toast. I built a 22 creed on a short action and love it. Want to re barrel the 25-06 in 22 creed.

will it feed reliably?

Well, if it doesn't want to feed consistently, you could always block the rear of the magazine, and use a short action follower to facilitate the correct feeding for the cartridge length ( goggle Mike Bryant's Remington 700 magazine modification for the 6 BR cartridge ). It works extremely well for my 22 BR Remington 700 repeater.

You have the perfect candidate in 25 CM. The 22 will just burn barrels faster....

25 creed is probably as hard on pelts as 25-06. Better high bc bullet selection.

I can verify I've never salvaged a pelt after a 115 ballistic tip hit it.

22 hornet or 19 calhoon have been my favorite pelt collectors.
