Will a Badger M5 (DBM) fit in the inlet for an M4?

Re: Will a Badger A5 (DBM) fit in the inlet for an A4?

You probably mean <span style="text-decoration: underline"><span style="font-weight: bold">M</span></span>5 fitting into a <span style="text-decoration: underline"><span style="font-weight: bold">M</span></span>4 inlet.

When you type "A", everyone is thinking stocks instead of Badger model bottom metal.

The M5 footprint is the same as the M4. You should only have to tweak the inside of the inlet where the internal magazine well of the M5 extends toward the receiver.

Yea, it was early, and half a bottle of Christopher Creek petite sirrah last night made my head a bit thick. I meant M not A.

I've already got a badger bottom metal, just wondering how much I'd need to change things up to put on a DBM.

I don't want to disagree with Terry Cross, but I think the M5 is a hair wider than the M4 on the sides. I swapped put an M5 into an M4 inlet and had to do a little Dremel work, it's not much, but there is some to do.

I'm going to defer to you on this one Jason.

The last time I had to deal with it was about 4 years ago. Sure thought they were really close. Could have sworn all I did was bump the inlet facing the front of the mag well.

The OP can call Badger Ord with this question and get the skinny very quickly without having me muddy up his efforts.
