Is it off of a Howa 1500? If so it could work. I know that Tac Ops two-piece bases work on SA M700s', Howa 1500s', Weatherby Vanguards, and some old style Savage rifles.

Don't you have to turn one of the bases around the other way though? I could be wrong.

What? Tac Ops two-piece bases are canted, so turning <span style="font-style: italic">"one of the bases around the other way"</span> will not work.

I'm pretty sure my talley's had to have one of them flipped around. They were just flat bases though so it wouldn't matter. It could have also been just to fit my scope. It's been a few years on that rifle so like I said, I could be wrong.

If its a one piece base for the Howa 1500 SA it WILL NOT WORK on a Remington 700 SA, however if its a 2 piece base it will work,the screw holes are the same distance apart but the Howa has an extra .5" of length on its short action model. I found this one out the hard way.
