So just about done rebuilding my old POS Bushmaster into something a little better. Only things left for the lower are the trigger and ambi-selector. The upper will be receiving a new Rainier Arms 16" Medium Contour match barrel complete with an Adams Arms piston system. Now here is the thing, will the Troy Alpha rail even work with a piston system and if so is the Lo-Profile piston gas block low enough to fit under the Troy? Preferably trying to go with the 13" hand-guard. Even the 11" would work but the little 7" thing on there now just isn't cutting it. The Only other option for a hand-guard I'm willing to consider is the Samson Evo rail and if I went that route it would be the 9" extended version. Really like the Troy though so any info or experiences shared will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
