Will an MTU fit in an EH-1?

Recently bought a barreled action with an MTU profile. I'd like to stick it in an EH-1 that I've had laying around but I'm not sure if there's enough meat in the stock to open it up that far.

Any comments other than "why in the fuck are you trying to stick a truck axle in an EH-1?"

M24 is basically a proof sendero which is how Altus gets their EH1/A spec'd and i'd bet is a very common contour inlet

if yours is more like a sem varmint or 3b/4 you can always open it up with some sandpaper

Manners is cutting me an eh1 now with a straight 1.2” contour.

Why would I do that, well because I’ll never have to worry about barrel clearance again.
