It is my understanding that SCARs are particularly hard on optics and are notorious scope-killers.

I have this SB 3-27x56 “High Power” PMII on a new SCAR-20S, along with other accouterments. Is there any reason for concern, especially considering the scope costs more than the rifle? I’m about to start using it more, but would like some reassurance before I do.

    I would:

    A) Tune your gas just a bit down from factory...I run a 1.3mm
    B) Add a MotoTech Rubberized Buffer Pad

Those two things tame things down a bit and the MotoTech rubber pad soaks up the BCG just a bit better.
