Rifle Scopes Will Swarovski hold up on 338LM?

Guys,

Planning on a Sako TRG-42 in 338 real soon. I have an extra Swarovski 2.5-10X56 on a hunting rifle I don't use. Our range is 500 yards and that's what I'll be shooting a majority of the time with it. A Schmidt & Bender will come later on but not anytime soon.

So, will the Swarovski hold up to the recoil of the 338LM until I can get something better suited for the rifle?
