I was impressed that some of the Saints have been holding unofficial team gatherings (running drills without coaches present, working out, etc) in hopes that all gets ironed out and the season will go on. They can't practice officially while the negotiations are open.

Agree! I laughed so hard when Ray Lewis predicted a surge in crime if the NFL season was lost. The ego's these dudes have astounds me. I can't spend a nickle on sports without thinking of where a penny of that nickle is going.

Dont care if they do or not. Most out of work player will end up being drains on the rest of us. To much ego to work for what most americans work for and not a huge salary for playing a damn game. Just my .02

I don't remember how I posted my own avatar beyond the day I asked my youngest daughter to do it for me...I guess either of them can help me again in the remote, minuscule, highly improbable, nearly impossible, entirely unlikely event of a Bucs loss to their bayou rival.
I believe there is no team in the whole NFL that gives the Saints, and their devoted fans, the cold sweat nightmares our beloved Bucs provide!
That alone is worth a week of eating crow!

Are you serious? Roughly 45%-50% of NFL players graduate college. So barring this economy a college graduate will usually find work in their chosen field. Many athletes, especially graduates, will find work even in bad economies through alumni associations and/or fellow players or friends.
Find a sports agent. He'll find you all the football players you want.

A pretty good statistic that these dudes have serious responsibility issues and aren't anywhere close to 90% "fine" lol.
