Wilson Combat Recon Barrel

Wilson sent me there 556 RECON Fluted 16" Mid 1-9 twist Barrel,It Looks of Hi quality,Fultes are uniform Timed and smooth,Threading is flawless,Extension and m4 cuts Line up perfectly in my Cardnal forge REC.

I will assemble the barrel Into the Upper as soon as fedex shows up with My Daniel Defence lIGHT RAIL check head space,Install a new CMC trigger and be shooting this before the day ends, I shall post Results after BANA clip Brake in

CMMG MID lenght 14.5/Pinned to 16.4" Light weight under hand gaurds beside the Wilson Recon..

1-9 is the recommended twist for Hornady 75BTHP 556,I have 500 rounds of it, 200 is for Testing in SPR 1-7 the rest goes threw the Wilson from 100-750 yards..will post results on this thing as I go...FEDEX,,,, COME ON!

Fedex showed up,I Got The Upper Built not long before Dark..Zero went well First 3 rounds where on target,1.23 moa at 100 yards, I Set the zero to center of group sent 5 more COMFIRMING ZERO with a Warm barrel..
I did not do barrel break in Other than shooting as normally would,I will clean it before I shoot it again and thats How I break them in.
I Was hasty to shoot before Dark,I went to 555 YARDS threw it on the roof of my cruiser and banged plate,First 3 rounds 1.26 MOA next 3 rounds .79 MOA..

The CMC Trigger I installed after I built the upper today,It was Funky for 10-20 rounds,Maybe It was me..Feels Good now..

I will push it father and Harder soon with the AAC 7.62SD,I asume it should shift 1.5-2moa low as the SPR barrels I have do with the Can.
1-9 Works with 75's as stated by Hornady..

Useing The low powerd non paralax ajustment Optic(Leupold MR/T 1.5-5X) I would say real good results out of the gate at 3/4 the capable range of the syteme with just over and Under Minute Groups with a new barrel and hiting plate at distance with no Data from the new barrel.

Looks really good for sure and nice shooting out of the gate! I have the wilson 18" 1:12 6.8 specII and I absolutely love it, it does very well when hot also. You just inspired me to go with a recon build now thanks a lot lol
