I have found alot of old winchester brass at a yard sale. I bought about 300 brass for $12.00 alot of the brass is new as was still in unopened bag. But some of it is tarnished, like greenish looking color. I do not have a tumbler yet is there anyway of saving this brass. There are about 75 of them are like this they are in excellent shape,just have been put up for a long time.Thank you

It'll be fine for when you get your tumbler. Just keep them dry and look forward to loading them up.

Tumble it, and you will probably be good to go.
I like stopping in at some garage sales and asking about guns and reloading stuff. Sometimes you can find so good gear that way.

It's what I use. Every 1 in 10 or so of mine had a pretty big bur in the flash hole so you should debur them.

If no tumbler, then something MILDLY abrasive, like fine steel wool or a worn out kitchen scouring pad/scotchbrite pad and some "elbow grease" will do the trick on the outside.
