Rifle Scopes Win 52 + Unertl

I would like opinions on this one, please. Have a 1934 Win 52 with scope blocks. I feel the "classic" combination would be a Unertl or Lyman All American. Will be used for 100yd matches, 3 position. Am using Winchester T22 ammo. Rifle LIKES it!! Tried some 10x ( after heart slowed down from price), was OK but not like T22. Post or PM your thoughts. Thanks in advance.

I have a 52 target as well. Great, incredibly accurate rifles. Mine wears a Litschert Spot Shot scope, I think 24X. Very similar to Unertl. Screws right on. It was tailor made for the 52...

They are wonderful old scopes and because they are a bit more 'arcane' than Unertl, they can sometimes be picked up for a less $$, but they are every bit as good. They are fantastic optics for their day -- or today!!

Note that the aluminum caps for the ends can run about $40 each! So this one looks pretty nice and complete. I've never seen one with its rubber eye cup still there!

Apologies in advance for the miserable quality of this photo. I'll try and reshoot when I can get some daylight.

This is my Model 52 with Litschert Spot Scope. Very much like a Unertl.
