I was checking out my Uncle Kevin's shop in Kalispell, MT when I noticed some old rifles. I had asked my Uncle about them and he said I could have'em! I was stoked, I wasn't even able to make him an offer.

I ended up with this sweet Winchester 75 with Redfield peep sights. I've never used a set up like this before. I've only seen them on high power competitor rifles. I'm looking forward to heading out with a box of rounds and seeing what I can do with it.

I plan on doing a Apple Seed shoot with it.

Re: Winchester 75

I have a very similar 75t I purchased a few months ago. The gun shoots very well with standard velocity CCI, so much so that I haven't bothered to try other brands.

The trigger on these is adjustable, and very simple. The adjustment screw on my trigger was bottoming out on the stock inletting when I first got it. There was noticeable binding when I first started working on it. I removed the action and drilled a recess hole under the screw. I was then able to adjust the trigger lighter, (still safely,) and it removed the binding from the action. Just something to check out.

Great looking rifle, congrats on the find. Might I suggest a case of your uncle's favorite beer as a thank you?
