I have a friend that showed me a picture of a model 70 with a black stock and detachable box mag. It is a 3006 and he wants 500 for it. I have been looking for a example of it on gun broker and else where but can't find one. Can any one help me with finding more info on this rifle. He just got it in a trade.

Thanks magman but what I was wanting to know was if the rifle came from the factory with a detachable box mag. I checked the winchester site and could not find one. My friend will be bring it over and I was trying to get a idea if it was worth 500?
