Winchester Model 12 serial number is 146165 is how old and roughly worth what ? The gun is very close to mint. A friend of my has it that his Dad gave him and I was trying to pass this info along to him any help will be much appreciated!!

I haven't looked up the serial number, but your shotgun is worth what someone will pay. I know that sounds like a cop out, but it's true. Way too many variables to even think about giving you a rough guess as to it's worth without pictures.
