does any one have this gun ordered one picking it up tomorrow have a few questions 1st can i shoot remington golden bullets through it cant remember what kind of chamber it is and all im using it for is squirrel hunting and occasional steel chicken shoot,and 2nd what kind of weaver base will fit it, i seen on another forum they said weaver #15 would fit but some said it didnt fit really dont want to use dovetail mounts any info would be great

1st, Remington ammo is garbage, 2nd Weaver 15 bases will and do work, 3rd Remington ammo is junk and don't buy it.
These guns are the best kept secret. They will shoot as good if not better than the cz and savage.

I use the Federal Bulk pack ammo for plate matches and for Bullseye sometimes. It is actually pretty accurate. I have very very few problems with it- maybe 1 or 2 misfires every 1000 rounds and that is usually only in cold weather.

Federal bulk, CCI Blazer, Eley Sport, all good cheap bulk ammo. I shoot CCI standard velocity and wolf mt for target. $20-30 isn't much anymore for a brick. Everything listed is right at or more. Myself and many other shooting forums are banning remington rimfire ammo because it is about the worst out there. It may be cheap but many are complaining about ftfs and loose bullets. It is also one the dirtiest ammos available.

It does have a match chamber. Rems wont hurt it. You will notice how hard it is to close the bolt with a live round, because of the tight chamber.

well took it to the range today at 25 yds shot 3 to get on paper adjusted hit the bullseye with 10 rounds hole in hole finally gave up cause just wasting ammo,oh yeah that was with the so called remington junk golden bullets,so a question about the target chamber what cant i shoot in it

You should be able to shoot about anything. I don't no about stingers being bad? You are going to see a big difference with good ammo the further out you go. The wildcat is a very accurate gun.
