I moved out of Upstate NY going on a year ago, the Winters were driving my Wife and me crazy, the cold got into our bones and felt like they were being twisted in knots. Even with a huge pellet stove added we still couldn't get the thermo up above 62 for weeks on end.
So now we live in SE Arizona.
Well, I went out to start up the car for Mass this AM, and the doors won't open. The rain we had last night froze, and the doors were pretty much glued shut. 50 miles from Mexico and we still can't get away from it...

I feel you're pain Greg our old farm house was built in 1854 and the wind blows straight through the stacked stone foundation and 62 seems to be the best our wood stove could do as well now we are burnburn fuel oil and 68 is doable but $$$$$$ omfg 300 gallons last month .... and -18° without the wind chill..... stay warm.
Got up at sunrise today, it was 20 outside. Not anywhere near as bad as NY, but it's not what we moved several thousand miles to get, eitehr.
