Anyone here uses WLR with RL22 for loading your 300 win mag? Specifically with the 208 AMAX? Just curious to see if there is a significant difference on the velocity and the powder burn with WLR. Thanks for your help.

Re: WLR vs. WLRM for 300 win mag

Hornaday calls for the WLRM in their reloading manual,I have seen others call for just LR primers, the primer supply seems to be getting better, sometimes LRM primers are hard to get,but I stick to magnum primers with my 300WM loads.I use RL22 with 190 SMK and 180 Accubond/Ballistic Tip in all my loads.I have seen some of the SH members get good results with H1000 and Retumbo,I may try some of those loads also, check the Reloading Depot on loads.Good info there.

I use Fed 215 M in my 300 win w/ 75.2 gr of H-1000. It isn't the fastest, neither is my barrel but twi days ago I shot a group @ 300 that measured .590 outside to outside. I am always right aROUN .5 moa

I use Fed 215 M in my 300 win w/ 75.2 gr of H-1000 with the 208 gr A MAX. It isn't the fastest, neither is my barrel but two days ago I shot a group @ 300 that measured .590" outside to outside. I am always right around .5 moa with this load.
