thought someone might could use this tidbit. i kept experiencing the bipod loosening on the quick detach rail in a most unacceptable manner. the rail doesnt provide enuf bite for the harris bipod base so i popped a hole right about where the "br" was stamped on the bipod base and drilled and tapped a corresponding hole in the rail, added a 6-32 screw and vwa-la, no wobble. no applause please.

when i first got my harris, it wouldnt tighten all the way to the stock. I added a 1/16" rubber gasket material the same pattern as the bipod mount and tightened the bipod up and been fine since even as much as it gets banged around
