Took a Drake and Associated Stalker Gen 2 out to the range yesterday. While you will have to wait for the full writeup for all the details, my initial impression is that this thing is very accurate in a very compact package. The RPA action has the shortest bolt lift of any turnbolt rifle I have fired.

Sorry, no target photos yet, but it really seems to like the Black Hills 168gr Amax load.

That's a good lookin piece. I look forward to the writeup, always been interested in the RPA actions.
On aside, that scope looks like it's way above the bore, or is that just me?

Would you say the height above bore is a weak link in the system if there is one. I have serious reservations about a scope setting 3" or more above the bore. It would seem if it took a hit or fall in that area that it would sustain more damage then a normal ring and mount set up. Just a question.

I don't see it as a weak link in this design. If the rail was not integrated with the chassis, or it was just a set of uber-tall rings, then yes, I would be worried. I don't see this as being any weaker than any AR type mounting system you see out there.
