My mom inherited this Mauser from her late father, none of the family wanted it so she took it. I looked into it a bit and found that it is a desirable one, but missing some parts such as front sight hood and cleaning rod. Are there any companies that sell replacement parts or manufacture new ones? I’d like it to be as close to 100% as possible. Thanks

Nice rifle. You are missing a CLEARING rod. Armies started replacing cleaning rods with clearing rods in the 1890s via revised production specifications and in-service updates. Pull throughs made of braided line or steel chain became the standard for regular barrel cleaning. NCOs were supplied with handles for those clearing rods, two of which might be screwed together to obtain the necessary length.

All day long. I have the same rifle that I'm slowing starting to restore as well. My bore is JACKED, and still shot a 1.2" group WITH IRONS at the range the other day, and my eyes are toast. I love my old Mausers.

G33/40’s were not produced in large numbers. What makes them very scarce is that the actions were coveted for building lightweight custom hunting rifles in the post war period.
Another factor is that any idiot could identify them due to them being so conspicuously marked.
Very scarce rifle.
