Would like some advice on M5 Bottom Metal.

I know hardly anything about bottom metal and spent a fair bit of time with the search function already. I'm ready to place an order for a new stock and want to ensure I'm making the right decision.

With regards to the footprint/inletting, are the M5 dimensions standardized across different brands? Any experience with the Hawkins M5 DBM with CIP length AICS mags? Good, bad?

I'm thinking of running the M5 Oberndorf BDL bottom metal and would like the option to switch the the M5 DBM in the future if I get bored, or make it more attractive if I decide to sell.

M5 should be the same but it’s hard to be certain with the M5 bdl to consider also. I’d ask whoever it is that’s inletting the stock to be certain but that’s just me.
