When he landed in Dublin, Ireland on July 18, 1938, Douglas Corrigan joined the ranks of only a handful of fliers who had made a non-stop solo transatlantic crossing by air. The only problem was, he was supposed to be going to California. This is original content based on research by The History Guy.
