so ive never saw any reason to upgrade my cheapo lee powder funnel. but i got a wildcat based of a 25 wssm case. my powder funnel is not big enough to slide over the body of the case. is there one that will work without modification?

I found a copper tube that would fit over the mouth, then the funnel would fit over the copper tube.

i was looking at that but didn't know if it would work on a wssm case. i figured i might buy that one and try and modify one of the tubes i didn't think i would ever use. hopfully i wont have to modfy any and find one that works

the lee slides over the body then has a area that seats on the neck. if it wont slide down the body far enough it wont seat on the neck and you will spill the powder

best i can tell saturn doesn't make a funnel for .358 bullets
the round im loading is a 25wssm blown out to .358 and trimmed to 1.625.

Having had a similar problem, I found a piece of tubing that fit over the neck, cut it about 4 inches long to act as a extended drop tube, degreased the end that fits into my funnel, lubricated the inside of the funnel, and seated the tube with a dollop of bedding material into the funnel and allowed it to set. After degreasing the funnel and the outside of the mating tube, they will stay together while moving the combo from neck to neck and the extended tube makes handling easy. JMHO

I had the same problem on the WSM and WSSM calibers. A simple fix is sanding/dremeling the bottom of the funnel down so it will clear the case shoulder. I have since bought a Frankford Arsenel funnel kit with the various size neck adapters, and they work well. The Saturn one's are the same principal, but you have to buy a funnel for each caliber. The FA uses one funnel, and has multiple caliber adapters that attach to the bottom of the universal funnel. It works well and is cheap. Just take a drier sheet to the inside of it so the powder doesn't stick to the funnel from static electricity.

Sorry I was talking about the Frankford one. It comes with interchangeable bushings for different bullet diameters. They just slip over the neck. They work with their powder measure too.
