Reloading Equipment WTB 280AI Target Ammo

I reload 280AI, I can't sell you any handmade ammo but I can give you some advice if you find someone who will. The Nosler brass is I think the only quality available brass as norma is no longer making it. Nosler brass is however pretty mediocre compared to Lapua or Alpha, the primer pockets get loose after 4-5 firings and the necks split around then too from my experience even though Nosler brass is very expensive and somewhat hard to find in 280. I've shot H4350 and H1000 with success and choose the heavier 180 Berger at about 2650fps. Good luck with your search, unknown munitions makes custom ammo but I suspect this is not a caliber they are set up to reload yet and may have additional cost because of that.

If you intend to have it loaded once and never again I think the Hornady would be fine. If you intend to have the brass reloaded at any point I would pay the extra for Nosler. I suspect they would shoot equal size groups once worked up but I would put my money on the Nosler to shoot better if I had to pick.
