Yes. My current Dasher is Krieger is a 1:8 26" and hammers with 109s. That same barrel referenced above 1.250 straight.
Increase the speed and see why it does.

I don't think you will have a issue with 8 twist personally. But Ive seen a guy selling 7.5 twist straights on here recently. I think they are MODBB though if that matters.

You can get a PVA 7 twist and it will handle whatever you want in a 6mm. I shoot 105, 108 and 110s through my two.
