Midway USA had these on sale for $60 with free shipping and you could get a $10 gift card also. I know they are expensive but IMO they are the nicest scope covers on the market. Not sure why other high end makers don't have something similar.

Agreed! I had a pair for a LRP I had. Both have the 30mm tube... any idea if the rear cap will fit this vx5hd too? I’m thinking/ hoping it will then I just need to buy the 44mm front one.

I think they have a special eyepiece for the VX5 & VX6's. I think they are the 36mm lightweight ones. May wanna check Leupold's website for sure.
