RRS says next batch comes out after the 1st.

Someone also said they are ready redesigning the ball. The old one has a flat spot on it.

I backordered an Anvil from RRS on Nov 6 as I had read here that they filled those direct orders fairly quickly (2-3 weeks). I emailed them for an update yesterday and they replied that current orders would begin being filled in early Jan.

So yes that does seem to indicate early next year for next batch....
