Hi,

I'm looking to purchase some bottom metal that will fit a HS Precision stock that came off of a Remington 700 for my Bighorn Arms Origin Long Action. It takes standard Remington 700 LA BDL Bottom metal.
Thanks,

Leo

If it the Rem BDL style inlet, I have a new Magpul bottom "metal". Other than the really expensive HS precision bottom metal with proprietary mags, it is what most folks seem to be using. I had it for an HS stock I was gonna use.

It takes a little dremel work on the bottom metal and the stock. There are a couple videos on YouTube. I did it on a couple short actions.

If you want the magpul, I'll sell it for 10 bucks. It accepts the Magpul mags and metal AICS mags as well.

Otherwise, if you buy bottom metal from CDI they will inlet your stock for free.

Thanks for the reply! I was thinking of just the regular BDL type of bottom metal.

I have a h&s precision bottom metal and magazine for long action i'd be interested in selling but they're by no means cheap if you're looking for factory for that reason
