I am selling my Accuracy International AX MC (SHORT ACTION) that I bought from Mile High Shooting in October of 2016. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the rifle. This is the short action rifle and not the long action version. I am selling since I am just too busy to shoot like I used to. The rifle comes with three switch barrels all 24” in length and all threaded with 5/8-24 threads. The .308 Win barrel chambered by AI has ZERO rounds through it (its still brand new) and comes with the thread thread protector. The .260 REM barrel is chambered by AINA at Mile High Shooting. The barrel has exactly 492 rounds through it and is a one-hole gun (load data is available if needed). Back in late 2017 I decided that I didnt want to hand load anymore so I had Spartan Precision chamber a new barrel in 6.5 Creedmoor. This is another 1 hole gun and shoots Prime 6.5 CM, Hornady Match ELD 140 & 147 g 6.5 CM wonderfully into about 1 hole (0.3 MOA). The Spartan 6.5 CM barrel has 220 rounds through it and comes with a thread protector.. The .308 is a perfect color match to the rifle chassis. the .260 is black since Mile high only had that color at the time of order. The flats at the front of the barrel have some cerakote chipped off from where the wrench made contact. This barrel does not have a a thread protector since I was using a Thunderbeast brake (I can include that if needed). The 6.5 barrel is cerakote desert tan, but is a shade darker than the OEM AI color. It doesnt bother me and I think it looks fine. The rifle will come with THREE 10 round AI double stack mags along with the other rail accessories. Asking $5500 + Actual shipping costs (to your FFL) OBO.
