This Barrel was originally chambered by Mile High to finish at 26". I believe it started its life as a Bartlein 5R HV blank (don't know for sure) and was chambered with a SAMMI .260Rem reamer according to the markings on the barrel. The muzzle has a recessed target crown. I purchased this barrel from A Hide Member and cant remember the round count he said was on it as it was over a year ago. I've shot consistent 1/2 MOA groups with nothing but a thread protector on the muzzle thread, that's just using a load that I developed for another 260. I honestly have no idea how many rounds or on this barrel but it still shoots pretty tight groups at 100yrds. It looks like the previous owner tried to remove the barrel from a pre-14 action using the machined flats for tightening up to a post 14 action (or forgot to break the setscrew). Doing that left scaring on the Cerakote near the flats (see Pics). Selling for 200 shipped without the thread protector. Text may have a faster response time @ 9105397496.
