Consolidating and thinning continues....ive got an almost new origin in 224 valkyrie, it will also come with a 308 bolt head. The barrel is a bartlien 24" rem varmint left hand gain twist barrel. The twist rate is 7.5 to 6.75, lowlight talks about how critical gain twist is to stability and bullet integrity in small bore/long bullet set ups. Barrel has 5/8-24 muzzle threads. I have 2 different triggers available for action, a giessele 700 2 stage or a tuned 700 trigger. Will also come with 2 mdt mags with mk extensions and a bighorn 308 bolt head assembly.
It shoots factory 88 eldm into the .3s at 2745fps. I threw together a load with 88eldm, horn brass, and h4895. Same accuracy as the factory load but 2860fps. I also had a box of old 75amax, they shot very well also and was using them up first in this barrel.
8rds at 625yds(75amax) in a 8-12 mph fv wind.
1200 for barreled action, mags, and 308 bolt head. Add 200 for giessele trigger or 50 for rem trigger, if you want a trigger with barreled action.
☆☆ I would be interested in parting out, provided barrel and valk bolt head sell first. Barrel, bolt head, hornady dies, 270 88gr eldm bullets, 200 1x fired& prepped horn brass and 2 mdt valk mags for 500.00.☆☆
