    Hello all,

This pains me more than anything, but I'm taking a break from competition LR shooting at this time. I shouldn't even sell this as I'll likely never be able to replace it, but I put a down payment on a pricey grail gun.

Because of that I am selling arguably one of the best looking and rare TCS stocks out there.

    Manners PRS TCS
Saltwater Finish (The better run with large sponge work)
    Full Mini Chassis
    All front weights
    1 rear weight
    Sykes Clutch Plate
    Manners Clutch handle
    Manners Adjustable Cheek Rest Knob

As state above this is not for the faint of heart and I am NOT negotiable on price. If this is going to sell, it'll be because someone wants it. Not because you're good at haggling. ;) This is a full package in the BEST color. (In my opinion). I don't even wanna sell it, but money talks.

No Trades, No Offers, No Nothing. Cash is king and what will move this. If you dislike the price, keep walking or buy it elsewhere. (If you can even locate one.)

    Asking Price: $$1850 shipped

Payment method: PayPal F&F (you cover any fees)

Shipping Method: USPS Priority Mail from my FFL to yours.

Did you have the Sykes clutch added after or did it come from altus that way? It is not listed on their website as a standard feature.

Appreciate all the help, Gents! 😎

It’s just a VERY rare stock. In color/options/tcs in general have dried up a smidge.

Manners does the finish, but only for stocks that Altus orders for their inventory. In other words, Altus is the only place that you can buy Saltwater camo through, and they have to be in-stock (can’t be backordered afaik).

Just providing some context to OP’s asking price and why he was hinting that you can try to order one but won’t be able to.
Thanks for providing the clarification and the backstory context.

I think it's the way the OP worded the Title that makes it sound like "THIS IZ A UNICORN AND YOU WILL PAY OUT THE AZZ FOR IT" but yeah completely reasonable price for it.

Sorry gents. I’m on the west coast and just now seeing everything.

Had a bunch of people claim they would take it so I’ll go by time stamps and will contact everyone back via pm.

First to publicly post Ill Take it in the thread has been a PX rule here for many years. Unless Frank has removed it. Ill get a confirmation on that from him.
Seems like a legitimate policy. Just don’t see it in print anywhere that I could find.

I think the exception is if you’re negotiating with someone via PMs, hashing out a deal, and then someone random goes and posts I’ll take it. Obviously they wouldn’t get the item because I’m actively negotiating a deal in PM, where it belongs.

No dog in this fight… just saw the post on the top of my feed and clarification for my own knowledge isn’t a bad thing.

While I totally agree with your point, the understanding for the first to post Ill Take it Rule was the OP posted an item with a price.. The first to post Ill take it is agreeing to the OP's item, price, original terms they posted in their for sale add. Negotiating over PM's is not a deal done. It was always stated that Ill Take it posted publicly in the thread trumps all...

At least thats how it always was. Made it very easy for us to managed when arguments came about on who gets the item. See who first posted Ill Take It and it was settled. Now, that may have changed and I have a message into Frank to confirm so I will report back. Frank did make some PX rule changes when going to the Pay to Play model, and to help with people getting scammed... One of those new rule changes was allowed a seller to tell a buyer they dont want to sell to them for any reason....Thats a newer rule change... and may have replaced the Ill Take it Rule that was in there.

I always thought it was, first I’ll take it trumps pm’s.
A public I’ll take it should not trump a PM I’ll take it. If someone is haggling via PM and someone publicly posts they’ll take it, that’s a different story.

It was... and people were always told to post Ill Take It then follow up with a PM.... I have a message in now to confirm but it looks like there have been some rules changes...

Well whether it should or should not is not for you to decide. That WAS the rule here for many many years. But it MAY have changed. Im confirming now

I did send a pm and sold my black tcs to fund this. Deal or no deal, my buyer gets his.

I have lost items to I’ll take it posts, always assumed that was a given.

Frank’s house, I’ll go by his decision.

Right, so if someone PMs I’ll take it and an hour later someone publicly says they’ll take it, that means they should get it? That’s ludicrous. Why does everything have to be public?

Right, not for me to decide. I can read rules and see it isn’t listed, and as matter of fact, rule 5 seems to be to the contrary. While it doesn’t specifically mention “I’ll take it”, it does say things should be kept to PM.

    1. While good communication is the key to a good deal, the communication is between the buyer/seller and should be through private message ONLY. Don't clog the boards by bumping an ad to say "Payment Sent" or "Shipped Today" and the always popular "Item received and it looks great."”

Uhhh. I just wanna do what's right?

So... Padom, what's the verdict so I don't have tons of people yelling at me in PM's. Direct us since you brought it up, pretty please!

There's nothing in the forum rules about it. It also says this

Members are allowed to decline a transaction without penalty. No reason is required for refusal of payment. If the parties involved cannot agree on the terms of purchase, or the sale seems suspicious, there is no requirement to complete the transaction.

So you do whatever you want.

I would go off the rules as they are currently posted which gives you the right to sell or decline sale to ANYONE you want for ANY reason. So sell it to whoever you want, end of story.
