I have an old Leupold Plainsman scope and Stith mount that came off of a pre-64 M70 a number of years ago that it’s time to sell. This is a 7/8” tube with fixed 2.25 magnification. This was, as I understand it, the first model of riflescope made by Leupold and was introduced sometime before 1948. The scope has internal wind age and elevation adjustments. Optical clarity is pretty nice for its age, see pic below for my attempt at a thru scope picture. Includes the Stith mount which did not require drilling and tapping of the receiver. Asking $250 plus shipping.
