I bought this scope a while back from a guy who said he got it as a "open box demo". He said he never mounted it and I have never mounted or shot with it but I believe it was mounted at some point. I was originally planning to put it on a duel purpose competition and hunting 6.5 but that project never materialized. I have the box and everything that comes in it (defender caps, sunshade, turret tool, etc.)
