i built a 6.5 creedmoor on a defiant action with a Wyatt's extended box magazine. The problem I'm having is the rear of the cartridges tilt down and the bolt over rides them. Anybody have the fix for this? I'm using a spring and follower from a 700 bdl in 308.

Two things could be wrong. The bottom metal is not all the way seated, or the back of the magazine is hitting the bottom of the action.
i have the same setup, and these are the only things that come to mind.

I had the exact same problem with a wyatts in a b&c stock. I had done a write up on the new old sight. In short, there were areas on the stock that needs to be relieved more. I used a high powered led light to shine light around the edges where the dbm and stock made contact. If I didn't see any light coming through, that's where I took a little more material off. Worked great for me

Rifle is feeding good now. Had to change the angle on the feed lips, tig weld the rear of the mag box so it didn't spread apart, and bend the follower spring to change the angle slightly. Thanks to everyone for their input.
